The best Side of Charlie Chaplin's "The Circus" (1928)
The storyline within the movie shows this. Chaplin’s tramp falls in like with Merna, who returns his affection. Then, a tightrope walker named Rex (performed by Henry Bergman) will come on to the scene and Merna right away falls in like with him. Why? Due to the fact his act is daring and dangerous when Chaplin’s clown act has much less Status.
